Understanding Overdraft Fees

An overdraft fee ($35) is charged when you utilize our discretionary overdraft services to cover a transaction. To mitigate this, we limit daily overdraft charges to 3 fees per day per account.

How Eco Digital Trust Overdraft Relief Helps: If your available account balance is overdrawn by $50 or less, you fall within our overdraft threshold. In such cases, we won't impose an overdraft fee. Set up personalized alerts, and you'll receive an Overdraft Threshold alert when you exceed the $50 threshold.

What Causes Overdrafts?

An overdraft happens when your available account balance isn't enough to cover a transaction.

How Eco Digital Trust Overdraft Relief Helps: To help you manage your finances and prevent potential overdrafts, deposits are applied to your available account balance before any withdrawals made on the same business day. Refer to your checking account guide to learn more about posting order.

What if My Account Is Overdrawn?

If your account is in the negative, it's essential to bring it to $0 or above promptly to maintain its good standing. Eco Digital Trust SMS/Email Alerts can notify you when your account is overdrawn. Set up personalized alerts—it's easy to do online or in the Eco Digital Trust Bank app.

How Eco Digital Trust Overdraft Relief Helps: If your account remains overdrawn by more than $50 at the end of the business day, our Grace Period provides you with additional time to address the overdraft. Plus, you can opt for optional overdraft coverage.
